This analytical study focuses on the automotive technological revolution that is redefining this industry Vehicles, now considered large mobile devices, are experiencing significant changes thanks to the incorporation of new technologies Intelligent vehicles have currently become the center of attention of the automotive industry globally, and the compound annual growth rate of manufacturing and sales of these vehicles is expected to reach a high percentage in the next five years Android Automotive, a Google-owned platform specifically designed for Vehicles are gaining inordinate popularity · It is expected to be integrated into a large number of vehicles in the coming years · However, it is crucial to note that not all mobile applications are suitable for use in vehicles due to security implications · The use of applications that require a lot of visual and mental attention can significantly increase the risk of accidents · That is, the article proposes an exhaustive analysis of the applications that can run in the Android Automotive ecosystem · The fundamental aspects necessary to the development of applications in a connected vehicle, with a particular focus on driver safety and the overall driving experience This study aims to provide useful guidance for application developers, vehicle manufacturers, regulators and consumers interested. in connected vehicle technology and the potential of Android Automotive.
