This research is justified by the growing importance of social entrepreneurship as a key driver of innovation and sustainable development. In a global context where vulnerable communities face significant challenges, such as poverty, social exclusion and environmental degradation, it is necessary to deepen the study of the barriers that limit the effectiveness and expansion of these initiatives. This study aimed to analyze the factors that influence the success of social entrepreneurship, identify the main barriers faced by social entrepreneurs and propose strategies to overcome these challenges. The methodology employed included a review of recent literature, using the PRISMA method to select 16 relevant articles published between 2020 and 2024 in recognized databases. These articles were analyzed to extract information on success factors, common challenges and effective strategies in the field of social entrepreneurship. The results revealed that innovation, social capital and community support are essential for the success of social entrepreneurship.
