The Operating Costs and their Impact on the Administrative Efficiency of the Heavy Cargo Transport Company Lagatrans Ramialva Wassins S.A of the City of Bahía de Caráquez in the Period 2022-2023

Abstract

The heavy cargo transport sector plays a fundamental role in the economic development of Ecuador, particularly in cities such as Bahía de Caráquez. Companies in this sector, such as Lagatrans Ramialva Wassins S.A., are responsible for the transfer of goods and merchandise throughout the country, contributing to the supply chain and economic dynamism. The objective of this work is to analyze the operating costs and their impact on the administrative efficiency of the heavy cargo transport company Lagatrans Ramialva Wassins S.A. of the city of Bahía de Caráquez in the period 2022-2023. An analysis of the operating costs and their impact on the administrative efficiency of the transport company is presented, the methodology to be followed to analyze the operating costs and their impact on administrative efficiency, is based on scientific methods and techniques (observation, surveys) applied to the company's staff in the administrative department and 8 people in the operational department, this research being exploratory, descriptive and explanatory. The results obtained from the analysis of this survey provide a solid basis for making informed decisions on how to improve cost management and administrative efficiency at Lagatrans Ramialva Wassins S.A. By implementing the recommendations derived from this analysis, the company will be able to increase its competitiveness and long-term sustainability.
