The thesis "Implementation of Structured Cabling to Provide Internet Service in the Library of the Tsa'chila Higher Technological Institute" addressed the problem of a non-existent and deficient network infrastructure that affected the quality and efficiency of the services offered. The main objective was to implement a structured cabling system to improve connectivity and meet the growing technological demands of the institution. A detailed diagnosis of the existing infrastructure was carried out, identifying problems and needs for improvement. The methodology included the planning and implementation of a comprehensive cabling structure plan, complying with current standards and regulations current. The results showed a significant improvement in the speed and stability of connections thanks to the implementation of structured cabling in accordance with EIA/TIA 568-A regulations, which facilitated access to digital resources and optimized the daily operation of the library. The conclusions indicated that the new structured cabling system not only improved the user experience, but also prepared the infrastructure for future technological expansions. This positions the library as a key resource for the academic development of the institute, ensuring that it can adapt to the growing demands of connectivity and technology.
